The Eugène Gasana Jr. Foundation has partnered with one of the world’s leading architects, Sir David Adjaye, OBE and his firm Adjaye Associates, to develop a state-of-the-art International Children’s Cancer Research Center designed to enhance the cure rate of children with cancer in developing nations by increasing the capacity for delivery of high quality cancer care. At present, the cure rates of children in developing nations range from 5-20% at best compared to 80-85% in the United States. We are working to eliminate this disparity. The first international pediatric cancer center will be constructed in Kyebi, Ghana, serving as a center of excellence in cancer care for the continent of Africa.
